Thank you for purchasing a ticket to FLY Festival. We're looking forward to welcoming you to the event. Please read the below essential information prior to making your way to the event.
Venue Address
Ross Bandstand, West Princes Gardens, Princes St EH2 2HG, Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom. The entrance to the event is located via The Mound at the Floral Clock.
Timings
Gates Open: 13:00 | Last Entry: 16:00 | Event end: 10PM both days
Please make sure you arrive early and allow time for any queues to ensure you make the last entry.
Ticketing
Tickets are strictly non-refundable.
Please ensure re-sale tickets are only purchased through official FLY ticketing partners [DICE and Skiddle].
If you have a Sunday Pre 2pm ticket you must arrive before 2pm. If you arrive after 2pm you will need to pay a £20 fee to be allowed entry to the event.
If you have a Skiddle payment plan ticket the full balance must be paid before you arrive at the event, if you arrive with an unfinished payment plan ticket you will be denied entry to the event. You will not be able to pay the balance at the event. The deadline for payment is 48 hours before the event.
If you have a Terrace ticket or Terrace upgrade/extra please head to the VIP + Accessible lane for queue skip.
Weekend tickets = 1 person entry Sat & Sun. They are one barcode scanned once = 1 weekend wristband so these cannot be used by different people on different days.
Travel and Transport
The best way to travel to the event is by public transport. The nearest train station is Edinburgh Waverley. There are bus and tram stops on Princes Street. If you are travelling by taxi to the event, you will be dropped off at Castle Terrace which is a short 15 minute walk to the entrance.
Please note, there is no on-site parking at FLY Festival.
Entry
• Valid photo ID [Passport and Driving License only] is required for entry [18+ only & Challenge 25]. All Passports and Driving Licenses will be scanned to ensure they are genuine and match the person using them.
• Strictly no re-entry (throughout the event).
• Cashless site - contactless / chip & pin only.
• No Flash Photography.
• Dress code - No neon active wear, tracksuits or Old Firm football tops.
Admission & Drugs Policy
Management reserves the right to refuse entry, regardless of whether you have a ticket.
We have a zero tolerance policy on drugs and other illegal substances. All guests will be subject to a search on entry, there will be drug detection dogs in operation and CCTV on site. We will refuse entry to anyone found in possession of these substances and anyone found with these will be passed to Police Scotland who will be working on site at the event. Police Scotland have advised that zero tolerance means action will be taken if people are found to be in possession of drugs.
The event works closely with Police Scotland and has a zero-tolerance policy to anti-social, aggressive, homophobic, sexist & racist behaviour. This could result in you being ejected from the event and possible police action.
Additional Info
Bars will close 30 minutes prior to the end of the event.
When leaving the event, please leave quietly to avoid disturbing our local residents. Taxi pick up point will be on Castle Terrace.
Please take extra care of your belongings - pickpockets do operate at music events. Lost property will be located at the Info stand, next to the merch van. Please note the event does not take responsibility for any personal property during the event, any lost property will be handed in to the merchandise stand - if not collected during the event it will be sent to Fettes Police Station.

Festival Arena Facilities
Medical & Welfare
We have a dedicated team to assist at any time. If you feel unwell and need assistance please head to the medical tent or speak to any member of staff. Welfare staff are on hand to help and will be roaming around the event, look out for them!
The Loop Harm Reduction and Chill Out Space
The Loop are returning to FLY with a chill out space offering harm reduction advice on drugs and alcohol. Visit them for non-judgemental, anonymous and factual information and conversations on drugs. You can ask any questions you like.
We highly recommend following The Loop (theloop_uk), for the latest harm reduction advice, including drug alerts. Loads of info and guidance on how to enjoy your night and to keep safe.
Make sure it’s a weekend to remember for all the right reasons.
Getting Home Safely
We have partnered with Strut Safe to ensure you are safe on your journey home, they operate a free-phone line staffed by volunteers who will stay on the phone with you if you are walking home alone. Any prohibitted items will be confiscated. Festival is not liable for loss or damadge of any items
FLY is a non-discriminatory organisation and is committed to ensuring all persons can attend and enjoy events.
To this end, wheelchair users will be provided with an access information pack [requested via the email below] which will include an accessibility arena map which shows the locations of accessibility entrances, toilets and more.In the event of an evacuation, for any reason, wheelchair users will be able to use these ramps for egress and will be in the normal evacuation network. Gate staff and security staff will be briefed regarding accessibility for customers and stewards are deployed throughout the venue and can assist.

Come with a good attitude and an open mind. FLY is a place for celebrating the dance music community, and we want everyone to have a great time- regardless of gender & gender expression, race, religion & beliefs, ability or physical appearance.
The main goal for FLY is to create a sanctuary for escapism, soundtracked by the best acts in electronic music. In order for everyone to indulge in this, we must all follow the FLY Fundamentals. We cannot control how others act, but we can control how we act - FLY will continue to demonstrate a zero-tolerance attitude towards abuse or harassment of any kind.
FLY Warehouse is a weekend of shared collective experience. Everyone is welcome at FLY, therefore treating everyone with respect is mandatory.

• Dress appropriately for Scottish weather! Although the event is indoor you will be queeing outside to get in and we recommend bringing apropriate clothing for when queueing.
