Job Overview:
We are seeking a hard working and driven Junior Promoter to join our team to learn, lead and manage the promotion, booking, advancing and marketing efforts for our club shows. As a key player in our team you will be involved in curating unforgettable experiences, responsible for promoting live events, building relationships with venues, artists, and growing our audience through innovative marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of dance music, connections within the industry, and a proven track record of promoting successful events. This role will involve evening and weekend work in order to attend and manage our shows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Artist Advancing & Contracting
Contracting bookings, arranging artist travel, accomodation, tech and hospitality riders .
• Talent Booking & Negotition:
Identify and assist the head promoter on all bookings. Book support slots for all gigs. Ensure balanced and dynamic lineups for all our events.
• Social Media & Brand Growth:
Manage and develop our marketing channels online. Adding further growth in new areas such as: Soundcloud & Youtube.
• Event Promotion & Marketing:
Develop and execute promotional strategies for our events, club nights, festivals, and live performances.
• Audience Engagement:
Identify and engage target audiences through both online and offline channels, driving ticket sales and building excitement around upcoming events.
• Digital Campaign Management:
Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and paid social (e.g. Instagram, TikTok Ads), to maximise event visibility and engagement.
• Industry Networking:
Build and maintain relationships with artists, venues, booking agents, management, record labels, and other key industry stakeholders.
• Partnerships & Sponsorships:
Collaborate with other promoters, labels and groups to secure partnerships that enhance our brand value, sales and growth at events.
• Brand Development:
Help craft the image, design and identity of our events working with freelance teams.
• On-site Event Coordination:
Work with event staff on the day of the event to ensure smooth operations, from artist logistics to audience flow, enhancing the attendee experience.
• Budgeting & Reporting:
Manage event budgets and provide reports on the success of events and campaigns, including analysis of key metrics such as ticket sales, audience demographics, and engagement.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Experience in Event Promotion:
Experience working in dance music or similar field such as live entertainment, sport, hospitality etc.
• Deep knowledge of the Dance Music Industry:
A deep understanding of dance music genres, subcultures, artists, and trends, with existing relationships in the industry being a strong asset.
• Marketing Expertise:
Proven experience in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
• Creative & Strategic Thinking:
Ability to develop innovative promotional ideas and strategies that resonate with target audiences and differentiate our events from the competition.
• Networking & Relationship Building:
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with artists, venues, and industry professionals.
• Excellent Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from fans to industry executives.
• Organisational & Project Management Skills:
Ability to juggle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and coordinate logistics for events of varying sizes.
• Valid UK Driving Licence
Desirable Skills:
• Experience with event ticketing platforms and CRM tools.
• Knowledge of video/photo content creation for social media campaigns.
• Experience with sponsorship acquisition and event partnerships.
• Basic Graphic Design skills.
