Early Entry Tickets

Pre-1pm & Pre-2pm tickets must arrive before the time stated on their ticket.

You must be through the gates before 1/2/3pm with this ticket or you will be subject to a charge of £10 upon entry.

Last entry 5pm.

• Please note valid ID is required for entry [18+ only & Challenge 25]

• Strictly no re-entry.

• Cashless site - contactless / chip & pin only.

ADMISSION POLICY 

Management reserves the right to refuse entry, regardless of whether you have a ticket.

The event does not allow illegal substances or new psychoactive substances at the event. We will refuse admission or eject guests found to be in possession of these substances and which breaches this policy. 

All guests will be subject to a search on entry and there will be drug detection dogs in operation on site. Police Scotland have advised that zero tolerance means action will be taken if people are found to be in possession of drugs, and any amount.

The event works closely with Police Scotland and has a zero-tolerance policy to anti-social, aggressive, homophobic, sexist & racist behaviour. This could result in you being ejected from the event and possible Police action.

Bars will close 30 minutes prior to the end of the event.

When leaving the event, please leave quietly to avoid disturbing our local residents.

Please take extra care of your belongings - pickpockets do operate in music venues. Lost property is located at the Merchandise Stand.

Please note the event does not take responsibility for any lost property during the event, any lost property will be handed in to the merchandise stall - if not collected during the event it will be sent to Fettes Police Station. 

TICKETING

• Those with pre 1/2pm tickets must arrive on time or will need to pay an additional ticket charge.

• Tickets are strictly non-refundable. 

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS 

Our festival is accessible via the main entrance. Please note that due to the nature of the venue normally being an ice rink - the dance floor area has a small step. There are accessible toilets located at the outside main toilet block. For further information, please email events@flyevents.co.uk

EVENT ARENA

The event is both an indoor and outdoor event. The music / main area is inside the building where the ice usually would be! Bars and food traders are outside. During busy times we may operate a one way system to minimise any congestion. 

In addition:

• There is no cloakroom or lockers

MEDICAL AND WELFARE

  • We have a dedicated team to assist at any time. If you feel unwell and need assistance please head to the medical room or speak to any member of staff. Welfare staff are on hand to help and will be roaming around the event, look out for them in pink high-vis!

  • The main goal for FLY Open Air is to create a sanctuary for escapism, soundtracked by the best acts in electronic music. In order for everyone to indulge in this, we must all follow the FLY Fundamentals. We cannot control how others act, but we can control how we act - FLY Open Air will continue to demonstrate a zero-tolerance attitude towards abuse or harassment of any kind.

Treat yourself & your peers with compassion. If you suspect that someone is in a vulnerable situation, think of how you can help.

We’re all here to celebrate our community - know your limits & how your actions could impact others.

Speak up - our dedicated Welfare team is here to keep you safe. If you see something that’s not right, don’t be a bystander - report it.

  • Dogs or pets are not permitted on site with the exception of assistance dogs
  • Drones / sky lanterns
  • Portable laser equipment and pens
  • Selfie sticks
  • Spray cans / marker pens
  • Professional film / videoing equipment
  • Megaphones / air horns
  • High-Vis tabards or jackets
  • Bladed or sharp objects 
  • Any items which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon
  • Large bags, only small bags permitted 
  • If you wish to bring an empty plastic bottle or container for drinking water, this is permitted.
